Batting Insulation

This is one of the most common types of insulation used in homes. It comes in pre-cut panels or rolls (called batts) and is typically made from fiberglass, although it’s also available in cotton, rock wool, and mineral wool.

  • Mineral wool (rock wool)-great for soundproofing, pest deterrent, long lasting fire resistance.
